Bubble wrap is a product in our protective packaging range that is widely used in the packaging industry.
Since 1960 when it was firstly invented, the product failed to be successful in applications like wallpaper or greenhouse insulation. But not long after, its true purpose was found.
One of the great uses of bubble wrap is to protect fragile items that need additional care. Delicate items such as glass wear, artwork, mirrors, chinaware and others require excellent cushioning and protection while transportation or even storage.
The advantages of bubble wrap:
• Excellent cushioning
• Extended protection
• Reduced costs of packaging
• Reduced damage of items
• Recyclable and environmentally friendly
Sizes and types vary with the packaging need. The small bubble wrap has bubble of 6mm diameter, where there are bubbles of 26 mm diameter. The larger the size of the bubble wraps the greater the level of shock absorption.
Bubble wrap is so easy to use too. All you have to do is wrap the item and secure it with a packing tape. The good news is that the bubble wrap fits the surface of the object that is inside and regardless of the shape or size, it will protect any awkwardly shape. That works in the advantage of suppliers who are selling jewellery or cylindrical items.
