The Shift to Online Packaging
The online environment has set new challenges for the packaging providers who supply to retail markets. Consumers are now being given more choices, larger product range and control over their purchases such as cancelling and increasing an order.
This shift in consumer behaviour represents both a growth opportunity, but also a test for businesses offering online packaging services. There are companies who operate both online and offline (physical stores). Their objective is to satisfy all customer requests and needs on time, every time, no matter the size of the order. For this to happen businesses need to have stock facilities in place.
Pack King can help you to be on top on your deliveries and use your space efficiently. Our inventory management and stock holding facilities benefit you by avoiding building up unsold products and improve your cash flow within the business.
Inventory Management and Stock Facilities
While your packaging items are stored within our warehouses, we have limiters in place which our system will always flag up low running stock. To make sure that nothing slips past, our dedicated purchasing team will scrutinise stock inventory. We will let you know when your stock is running low so you can simply re-order.
We hold up to 3 months’ worth of stock which we will drip feed to you as and when requested. Running larger quantities are advantageous allowing longer run times for our machinery also resulting in better prices.
We understand the need for companies to make alternative use of factory floor space, rather than have it exhausted through stocking items.
Your business can benefit through using this space to increase productivity, meaning savings and ultimately more profits for your business. Other benefits would be saving on paying excessive rent and having insurance policies to cover storage.
